Are You a Social Media Super Hero? 2014 Social Media ‘SoMe’ Awards Nominations are Open!

2014 SoMe Awards

The SoMe Awards are back for the biggest and best year yet! We are mixing things up a bit by turning the SoMes into an all-day event. We’ll kick of the awards with the 2014 SoMe Forum, full of some amazing speakers featuring Brian Solis and Pamela Slim. The 2014 SoMe Awards will take place that night, announcing the winners of the 10 SoMe Awards categories. Here’s your chance to strut your social skills and submit your campaigns for the 2014 SoMe Awards. Nominations are now open through April 4th, 2014. Here is all you need to know on how to submit your campaigns:

1. Visit the SoMe Nominations page to read all the nomination rules and complete the nomination form.

2. Complete the nomination form and select the appropriate campaign category:

Breaking Social
Most innovative or unique use of a social tool, platform or application

In the Trenches
Most effective use of social media to provide customer support and build deeper relationships with your online community

Just ‘Cause
Best use of social media to raise awareness and/or solicit donations for a cause or a non-profit organization

Social Tool of the Year
Recognition for the most useful and innovative social media tool

Go Local
Best use of social media by a local business to develop a committed following

House Party
Best use of social media by an in-house marketing team to engage customers and raise brand awareness

Dream Team
Best use of social media by a marketing agency to engage customers and raise brand awareness

ET Phone Home
Best social utilization within a mobile centric campaign or application

The Unsung Hero
Honors the community manager who has best used social media to grow, support and provide value to an online community

People’s Choice
Entry is by submission of a video illustrating the success of a social media campaign. Voting by the public.

3. Don’t forget your SlideShare presentation! Each submission requires a Slideshare presentation outlining the submitted campaigns (including campaign purpose, execution, challenges, and metrics for success).

We are looking forward to seeing some ground-breaking and innovative campaigns for this year’s awards, so be sure to get those nominations in.
