SoMe Social Media Awards 2013: And the winners are…
The Fez Ballroom in downtown Portland was packed last night with social media creatives. Many were hoping to be called to the stage to accept an award recognizing their outstanding achievement in social media. This year’s SoMe Awards were a HUGE success and TMMPDX.COM wants to thank everyone who made the show possible. Sponsors, organizers, volunteers, nominees and WINNERS. We also would like to send our love and support to Jen Peck who was unable to attend the event. #JENWELOVEYOU!
Want to see the work?
If you want to be inspired take a look at the videos compiled by this year’s finalists. The people’s choice category was determined by ‘likes’ on this playlist of YouTube shorts. Take a look here: http://www.youtube.com/user/SoMeAwards.
KGW’s Live Coverage
We would like to give a shout-out to KGW’s Steph Stricklen who did an outstanding job AGAIN this year as the event MC. Her crew was on the scene live and took time to find out what the Some Awards were all about.

It would of been nice to have a framed certificate for those businesses that won “runner up” so that they could get some recognition and have something to hang in their office to give their clients & community some attention for their efforts.
Mike J.
Hi Mike,
That is a GREAT suggestion and we’ll be sure to put that together for next year!
