TMMPDX is thrilled to introduce its 2014 scholarship winners! Tracey Forschler and Jessica Chang will be taking Introduction to Digital Strategies with Instructor and TMM founder Lisa Peyton. They’ll learn to create strategies for a cohesive brand experience across a range of digital platforms.
Tracey is a self-proclaimed lifelong storyteller and analytics geek, the perfect combination for a digital marketing superstar. As a writer, she is fascinated by using content to inspire readers to act, whether it’s signing a petition or making a purchase. She loves the analytical side of marketing, because it allows everything to be measured and improved.
“Through the Digital Marketing Strategies Certificate program, I want to develop my skills so I can apply them towards projects I’m passionate about,” Tracey explains. “I would love to be involved with organizations that encourage people to explore the outdoors, cultivate healthy lifestyles, travel the world, or continue their education. I hope to contribute to a team of marketers and learn from respected mentors in an agency environment.”
Jessica Chang is a TMMPDX contributing writer who dreams of someday creating an award winning digital campaign for Nike. She’s currently involved in social media marketing for Crossfit Portland, which combines her two loves of digital marketing and fitness.
“Initially, I plan to use the strategies that I learn in the program to improve my marketing efforts at Crossfit Portland,” says Jessica. “My eventual goal is to land a digital marketing position with a sports or outdoor retail company.”
