Last night, Intel’s Social Media Marketing Maven, Kelly Feller, spoke at the Social Media Club’s monthly meeting in downtown Portland. Her presentation was entitled Getting It: Careers In Social Media and it brought in a huge crowd of Social Media enthusiasts and marketers.

She responded to audience questions throughout her hour long presentation, focusing on how corporations like Intel are dealing with the somewhat unpredictable and unruly realm of the social web.

The Social Media club was founded by Chris Heuer and Kristie Wells in July 2006 to “help people find all the relevant communities of interest in which they want to participate.”

The club currently has over 35 active chapters, including Portland’s neighbor, Social Media Club Seattle.
